Axel Springer has initiated a shift from traditional print media to the digital realm. Their recent structure situated on the Berlin campus serves a dual purpose, serving as both a symbol and a practical instrument in facilitating this transition. It is designed to attract the most influential figures from Germany's digital creative community.
The building features a central atrium that cuts diagonally through it, connecting seamlessly with the existing Axel Springer buildings. At the heart of the design is a sequence of stepped floors, collectively shaping a 'valley' that functions as an informal focal point – a platform for sharing and broadcasting innovative ideas to various sections of the company.
It took me 2 days to do this photo shoot. Capturing the essence of architectural wonders over the course of two days provides a unique opportunity to showcase the dynamic interplay between light, space, and form.
Visual example "before" and "after" retouching. Try it :)
